We Care
Our Educators are passionate about bringing democracy to your classroom and helping your students become confident, active and critical thinkers.
Easy to use lesson plans
We provide easy-to-follow lesson plans and worksheets for before and after our workshops. Our program is not just a workshop or presentation. It is an integrated unit in line with the NSW and ACARA curriculum ready to be incorporated into your learning program so all the work is done for you!
Curious Community
We want our program to have lasting impact and continued engagement for your students. We encourage you to continue the program and extend student's learning with our Curious Citizens Learning Blog and Writing Competition!
Curious Citizens provides Stage 3 - 5 students with an experiential learning environment. The classroom becomes a laboratory where students learn democracy by doing it.
Students will not only learn the fundamentals of our Federal Parliament, political institutions and democracy but also learn to be effective communicators, critical thinkers and engaged citizens. We believe democracy means being able to 'think through things together' and encourage a sense of community.
With an adaptable, modular structure, our program is flexible and responds to the interests and demands of your students. We help support teachers in how to structure an active, engaged democratic culture in their classroom.
